As Promised...

These two little guys were born Saturday. In this picture they are almost 48 hours old. They weighed 5 and 5 1/2 pounds.

Sick and Tired

This has been the scene at the Kaul house for 11 days now. Yes, that is a vomit pad on the floor. I tell them I don't care what you have to do, but DON'T GET IT ON THE CARPET! They passed around a virus and then one got an ear infection, the other bronchitis. They started feeling better and Konrad got a stomach bug and then gave that back to the boys. This is why I don't eat or drink after my children, or anyone else for that matter. Konrad is really hoping that I don't come down with anything because he and I both know that when Mama is sick the house shuts down.

New Goats

We have 8 new baby goats and more expected any day. Two sets of twins born Saturday, triplets born Friday, and a single born earlier this week. All are well, so far 7 males and one female.
I had misplaced the camera but found it today! I'll get some pictures up soon.

100 Party!

We got together with some friends and celebrate our 100th Day of School. It was actually closer to their 100th day, but we wanted to party anyway :) We made cool hats with 100 stars, 10 stars on 10 strips of paper. Then we counted out 100 pepperonis. They also drew pictures of themselves of what they would look like when they turned 100 and answered questions about what they would do with $100, what they could eat 100 of, what they would not like to eat 100 of, etc. We made shirts with 100 things on them. Kaden made snakes, Kolin made footballs. The boys also filled a brown paper bag with 100 things and then the others tried to guess what was in the bag by feeling the bag. Kaden brought gummy bears and Kolin packed marshmallows, so we ate those along with the pizza. It was a fun day and we look forward to doing it again next year.

We had a great weekend celebrating Kaden's birthday. Here are a few pictures from the festivities.

Greenhouse Take Two

After leveling, leveling and just a little more leveling,the cement has been poured and the 4x4's have been set. The wood for framing has been ordered. Progress! Meet my crew. Some help more than others, but all are welcome :)

I guess this is what little boys do when they get Mom's camera and are left alone for a while.

I'm not sure if they meant to cut the heads off or if that was done for was anonymity, but I have a sneaking suspicion who that is.

Flowers

It has been a long time since I've received flowers for Valentine's Day. They were beautiful, thank you Konrad.

Greenhouse Take One

So here is the site of the future greenhouse. We worked on leveling the site during the fall and winter. I know it doesn't look like much, but there have been many hours spent shoveling to get it just this far!
