While Daddy is Away...

the family will play in his truck! We have been riding all over town in Big Blue since Konrad took the Explorer to Florida. We even take Kash with us most of the time.

Fat Lip

Kolin busted his lip on a table at McD's. He was running (which he is not supposed to do) and playing tag with a friend who tagged a little too hard. It looked pretty bad but is healing quickly.

Progress

Well the house is starting to move along. We were given a new contractor and he seems to be getting things in order. The siding is done, the holes in the roof have been fixed and Friday we got new gutters, except for the one that goes on the front porch banister that is still missing.

Sunday we went to my parents house and grilled huge shrimp and even bigger T-Bone steaks. Everything was very tasty.

Konrad spent a large part of the day mowing lawns with Lawn Enforcement. Business is good and he is adding new jobs all the time. When he returns from Meatfest he has about ten jobs waiting for him on Monday!

Happy

At least someone is enjoying apartment living.

And here is the pillow that I am basing the guest room off of. The walls will be taupe, and I found some really pretty green silk that I will either make pillows out of or a throw for the bottom of the bed. Now I just have to figure out what bed to put in the room. I just love the new windows, it changed the whole atmosphere of the room. Now there is so much light!

New Rug

I tried to take a couple pictures of the rug we are thinking about buying. The lighting just wasn't bright enough with all the windows in the house covered. So here it is but you can't see the true range of color in it. It has lots of shades of blue and brown. It's for the living room.
