Watering Hole

This is where the four pastures meet in the middle. We had a four ball watering tank installed. It had to be installed per the specifications of the NRCS to qualify for partial reimbursement. Konrad will have to add the actual specs but I'll give you what I think they are. The tank sits in a concrete pad that is about 10' x 10'. It is about 14" above the dirt level and was backfilled with several dump truck loads of gravel. Konrad added 2x6's over the tank to keep the goats from hopping from one pasture to the other. In the picture there are 4 boards, but we have since had to add 2 more. Those goats are quite nimble. Konrad insisted that the picture be taken from the bucket of the tractor, fully raised of course, and who do you think got nominated for that job? Yes, he even tried to get me to stand up! Anyways, that's all I know about the tank.

Kaden MIA

Kaden was too quiet for too long so I went looking for him. I found him coloring..in an actual coloring book! For some reason he thought he was SO funny sitting up there coloring. He was just laaaaughing. I'm just glad he wasn't painting the walls or himself.

Clifford Day

The local museum hosted Clifford for the day so the boys and I went to see him. They were much more interested in playing with the wooden roads and train tracks than viewing the museum. I even had to pull them away to go and see Clifford.

Sledding

It has been a snowy winter in Tennessee. Here are a couple pictures of me and the boys sledding during our last big snow a couple weeks ago.

Kaden went down the hill all by himself and even pulled his own sled up the hill. They took a good nap that day!
