Triathlon

From earlier this summer. Recently the boys participated in their first triathlon. It was a small course, designed for 2-6 year olds. It started with a foot race around a coned course, then they hopped on their bikes and rode along a section of road. Then they parked their bikes and ran through some sprinklers to the finish line. They ran the race twice. Kolin finished 2nd the first time and 1st the second time. Kaden was hot on his heels. After completing the race they each got a trophy and a t-shirt that reads TRIATHLETE on the back. Then we played on the playground and even got ice cream on the way home. Good job boys!

1st Day of 1st Grade

Since it's too hot to do anything else, we decided to go ahead and start our school year. We also moved the schoolroom out of the playroom where he found it surprisingly difficult to stay on task. Kaden joins us for Bible and reading and often he'll do worksheets or draw pictures. His preschool doesn't start until September.

Some New Ladies at the Rocking K Ranch

We have had three kids born so far this week. A set of twins and a single. We are anticipating another labor tomorrow, so stay tuned!
