It's FRIDAY!
It's raining, but it's Friday! I don't quite know why I get so excited about Fridays. I don't work that many hours. it's not that Friday represents an end to my work week, it just means that tomorrow will be different than today. Hubby will be here to help with the kids, but he leaves his own trail so work-wise, it's really a wash. I think I just like the variety, the change of pace. I am also excited about Big Love's birthday party. Several family and friends are coming over to help celebrate. I'm serving lasagna, garlic bread and salad. I've ordered a cake and will go out in the morning to get balloons. I don't know who likes the balloons more, me or the kids. I think they just scream FESTIVE, PARTY, FUN! I look forward to talking to friends I haven't seen in a while and watching everyone love on my boys. It makes me happy to see them happy. So happy Friday to you all and stay tuned for party pictures!

Friendly Reminder
Just a friendly reminder from WIP#1: DO NOT PURCHASE DISNEY STAMPS, or if you do don't let your 3-yr old see where you keep them. Diesel thought they were stickers (which they are, I guess) and put them on his sweater! If I had a picture I'd include it, but I was too busy peeling them off of his fuzzy sweater as carefully as I could so that maybe they could actually be used for postage!
Cmas Party
This is for you Teeny. Feel free to let your Mom know the dress came in handy, or not if she doesn't know I have it. This was husband and me at work Christmas party-a very rare evening alone, but hopefully that is changing. We had our first date night in January. Feb. pretty much got cancelled, but we have big plans for March. I'm making a concerted effort to make him my largest priority. I was enlightened recently. Whoever enlightened me talked about how we hear that we should make our family first in our life. While that is not an all bad idea, we are really called to make our spouse first, children second. We tend to lump them all together and call it family.
On the job training
The cleaning portion of my day is not going so well......
Big Love turned one today. Daddy is at work, Diesel is sick. I'm trying to clean, keep B.Love away from sick brother, work, clean house and prepare for party. It has not been an easy year, but my mother says the first year is the hardest. I believe her. And I pray to God she is right.
